People, including jurors, have come to expect more than just paper to tell a compelling story. We have been spoiled by Hollywood and the technology revolution. We have come to expect the visual effects we see on CNN, or videotaped action as seen on reality television shows.

Hard copy depositions, read back in the courtroom, are old school. Successful practice today often means video presentation of depositions. Video has another big advantage that the transcript alone does not have — body language as a form of communication.

Bundy Productions provides legal video services certified by the American Guild of Court Videographers for 10 years. The AGCV is the largest certification association with over 1700 certified videographers. The guild only trains established videographers in the field of the legal profession.

Bundy Productions staff recently completed an intensive re-certification and update on the most recent changes in the areas of Depositions, Mediation Videos, Activities of Daily Living Videos (formerly known as "A Day in the Life"), Will Execution Ceremony, Pre-Nuptial Agreement Signing, Pre-Construction Documentaries, Construction Draw Documentaries, Post Construction Documentaries, Special Investigative Units and Courtroom Presentations.

As the "eyes of the jury" and as a Notary Public, Bundy Productions staff is knowledgeable in all aspects of the court rules of civil procedure. Not only can we videotape the deposition, but we can swear in the witness. Notary Public is also available.

A Mediation Documentary is designed to make the opposition know "what they are in for" by disclosing history, may amplify and concentrate on the more persuasive facts, may be done with music, scripted narration, use of a professional voice-over, professional actors, may show "gory" details, pain and suffering, special effects, Q&A, not limited as to content, no editing restrictions, under 30 minutes (should be short and to the point), computer graphics and laying blame are allowed.

An Activities of Daily Living (ADL) was formerly known as "A Day in the Life" must be current, factual, no music, no scripted narration, no professional voice-over, no professional actors, must minimize "gore," minimize "pain and suffering," no special effects, no prompting, not over 17 minutes, truth is the key word, do not appeal to emotion, be honest, truthful, and accurate. You must be the eyes and ears of the jury. No attitude can be revealed. No computer graphics.
